Marci is asked by her Godfather, Richard, to go to Positano on the Amalfi coast of Italy to pack up his antique shop whilst he is on holiday with his new bride。 She is due to stay for a couple of months, but is surprised by the amount of stock to be sorted。 She is staying at the hotel of friends of Richard's, Luca and Celia and their son Nico is tasked to look after her whilst she is there。The description of Positano is amazing and makes me wish I could visit, although I'm not so sure that I cou Marci is asked by her Godfather, Richard, to go to Positano on the Amalfi coast of Italy to pack up his antique shop whilst he is on holiday with his new bride。 She is due to stay for a couple of months, but is surprised by the amount of stock to be sorted。 She is staying at the hotel of friends of Richard's, Luca and Celia and their son Nico is tasked to look after her whilst she is there。The description of Positano is amazing and makes me wish I could visit, although I'm not so sure that I could handle all the steps now。 The hot weather sounds so tempting as I'm reading this in the middle of a normal dreary British winter and I'd love to visit the restaurant and try some of the dishes so lovingly described。In addition to the lovely scenery there is the developing relationship between Marci and Nico as, after all, this is a romance novel。 With its twists and turns this is a book that I really enjoyed and can definitely recommend to those who want some escape。I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book。 。。。more

The perfect escapist reading。 Set on the Italian Coast, the location can’t get any better。 Marci gets a notification from her godfather that brings her to Italy。The flow,of,the story works well。 Clues are given along the way to finally reveal what some of the secrets are plus a little love along the way。The cover is so bright and gorgeous, it makes me just want to step into and enjoy a glass of Chianti。Cheers! Enjoy the read! Thanks to NetGalley and Embla Books for the early read。

This is the first time I have read this author and I really loved the story of Marcci and Nico。 After going to Positano to settle her Godfather (Richard's) things as he is a collection just like Marci and her brother are in England。 Marci makes a some friends and becomes close with Nico and his family。 They fall in love but Marci leave there a head of her schedule。 The ending really surprised me。 A VERY GOOD READ This is the first time I have read this author and I really loved the story of Marcci and Nico。 After going to Positano to settle her Godfather (Richard's) things as he is a collection just like Marci and her brother are in England。 Marci makes a some friends and becomes close with Nico and his family。 They fall in love but Marci leave there a head of her schedule。 The ending really surprised me。 A VERY GOOD READ 。。。more

Heartbroken and in desperate need of a vacation, Marci James heads to the Amalfi Coast to pack up her godfather, Richard’s, antique shop。 As is most often the case with this kind of undertaking, she discovers that it’s a bigger task than she’d anticipated and welcomes the help of the enigmatic Nico Romano。 As you’d expect from a gorgeous young Italian, he wines her and dines her and soon she’s chasing the dream of a happy life with someone she loves。 When they uncover a big family secret it has Heartbroken and in desperate need of a vacation, Marci James heads to the Amalfi Coast to pack up her godfather, Richard’s, antique shop。 As is most often the case with this kind of undertaking, she discovers that it’s a bigger task than she’d anticipated and welcomes the help of the enigmatic Nico Romano。 As you’d expect from a gorgeous young Italian, he wines her and dines her and soon she’s chasing the dream of a happy life with someone she loves。 When they uncover a big family secret it has the potential to ruin more than Marci and Nico’s happiness。 While I agree with some reviews that this was not one of my favourite Coleman reads for the same reasons (overly wordy, couldn’t connect to the characters, lack of ‘pizzazz’), I did love the concept of spending the summer rooting through a closed up antique shop with time to uncover hidden treasures。 Lucy Coleman knows how to write about the journey and always shows that despite things not always falling into place as we’d like, there’s the potential for happiness and love if we choose it。 I can always count on her to write feel-good, uplifting, contemporary romances with heartwarming characters and beautiful locations。 Readers of this book will be whisked away for an unforgettable summer, engaged in a little romance, friendship, family and laughter as the lovebirds struggle to find a path to each other。 A light, escapist read, this book with its lovely descriptions of food and Positano enabled me to revisit one of my favourite holiday destinations。 The family secrets kept me engaged when I became frustrated with the wordiness。 I was gifted his advance copy by Lucy Coleman, Embla Books, and NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review。 。。。more

I received an ARC of, Finding Love in Positano, by Lucy Coleman。 This was a good book。 I did not like the secret that was kept from Marci。 Marci is a good character, her mother not so much。

I received an ARC from NetGalley in return for an honest review。 Oh what a fabulous wee romance。 this had everything you want in a romance: great characters, a fabulous setting which is evoked so skilfully, a cracking love story and an additional bit of mystery。 I loved it and recommend it to anyone who loves a great escape with wonderful people。

Finding Love in Positano is absolutely my favorite of the Lucy Coleman books I have read so far! The story has so many elements to warm readers’ hearts: lovely descriptions of the area, yummy descriptions of the food and wine, heartwarming descriptions of the the joys of family and friends and not least of all the thrill of falling in love, plus a little mystery thrown in。 This is a book that begs to be read in one sitting。 I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley。 Most Finding Love in Positano is absolutely my favorite of the Lucy Coleman books I have read so far!
